The 2015 Vintage According to Bertrand: A Bonanza for Wine Lovers the World Over!

Walk into a wine shop or peruse the wine list in a restaurant feeling confident that if you pick a wine of the 2015 vintage from a reputable winery anywhere in the new or old world, you will get a great bottle of wine. It is a rare occurrence when the wine gods bless a vintage across the globe, but it happened in 2015! Every major wine region seemed to have benefited from an exceptional grape ripening stage and/or harvest time. From European countries like Spain, France, Italy and Croatia and across the ocean to wine growing regions like California, South America, Australia and New Zealand, vintners worldwide were able to extract an exceptional juice we can now enjoy without having to wait years for it to undergo the cellaring process. To that, we say Cheers! And remember that “Bonum Vinum Laetificat Cor Hominis,” or “Good Wine Gladdens One’s Heart!”
