The Rotunda

The Rotunda seats up to 28 guests. If your group is larger, the Downtown Room seats up to 42. For a more intimate gathering, the Blue Room seats up to 18.

No. Audio/visual cannot be accommodated in the Rotunda. The Blue Room is the only private space at Mister A’s with audio/visual capability, available for groups of up to 16 guests.

Yes. The Rotunda is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the downtown San Diego skyline, and it is one of the restaurant’s most photographed rooms.

Yes. Private event spaces at Mister A’s carry a food and beverage minimum that varies by room, day of the week and time of year. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date and is credited toward your final bill. Contact the events team at events@asrestaurant.com for current minimums.

Private spaces are typically reserved for three hours. If your event runs past the contracted end time, an additional fee per hour may be charged.

Parties of 15 or more are required to select a plated 3-course group menu and cannot order from the regular à la carte menu. Menu and wine selections must be finalized no later than 15 days before the event.

For nearly 60 years, Mister A’s has enforced a dress code and does its best to honor this long held tradition in the current era. Modern dress code is “business casual.” Guests not in proper attire will be turned away. Please see our full dress code policy.

Yes. The Rotunda has direct access to Mister A’s outdoor patio, which the events team can arrange with your booking. Please note the patio is open to all diners and is not completely private, though it can be subdivided for individual groups.
